A heart filled with aspirations is all that we knew since the very existence of the school and that’s what gave us the ambition of marching forward till excellence is achieved in all our endeavors. This report is comprised of the achievements made during the year gone by and at the same time set the path for greater accomplishments in the years to come.
PARENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME:
As a regular practice followed every year, this session began with the Orientation Programme for the parents of the students of classes Pre – primary to XII. The program made the parents aware of the scheme of education we impart here at our school. Query-resolving session by our principal illuminated the path of positive parenting.
CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS:
With the sole purpose of updating teachers’ knowledge, the school hosted a series of Teachers’ Workshops. It was an attempt which inclusively engulfed various significant aspects like Moral Values, Life Skills by CBSE, Meditation & Stress Management, English Language and Mathematics. Apart from this, our teachers are made a part of the training sessions and workshops happening at other schools. Our teachers attended various workshops like CHINTAN workshop, workshop on NURTURING EARLY CHILDHOOD and ADOLESCENCE MANAGEMENT, workshops on various ACADEMIC SUBJECTS. Attendee teachers further share the knowledge with other fellow teachers widening the sphere of wisdom.
COMPETITIONS:
To take part is what counts in competition and lessons of victory and defeat are what we get in return. This environment was sufficiently created through inter-school, inter-house and inter-class competitions such as debates, Vad-Vivaad Pratiyogita, Shlok Competition, Quiz, Rangoli, Declamation, Creative-Writing, Spelling-Bee, Rhyme and Rhythm, Drawing and Power-Point competitions. Our students took part in various inter-school and zonal level Competitions and brought laudable laurels to the school.
Celebrations:
Life is a celebration. We just need persons to celebrate it.
To foster national integration, international understanding, religious and cultural awareness and tolerance, various national, religious and cultural festivals and occasions were celebrated with due pomp and grandeur.
National Festivals: Independence Day, Republic Day, and Kargil Vijay Divas were celebrated with due reverence for our motherland with patriotic songs and dances.
School Celebrations : Investiture Ceremony was celebrated in a befitting manner and responsibilities were given to tall the elected students to develop the sense of Leadership
Religious Festivals : All religious festivals like Diwali, Ganeshotsav, Parsi New Year, Buddha Pornima, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc are celebrated throughout the year with due respect to the religious sentiments of our students.
Other Celebrations: The school gives due recognition to significant global events and celebrate these days. Some of these events are International Women’s day, International Workers Day, Hindi Divas, Yoga Day, World Peace Day, Road Safety Day, Save our Planet Day, Girl Child Day, Science Exhibition etc.
After completion of the of a very fruitful and satisfying 2022 it gives immense pleasure to announce that are batch of class 10th and 12th broad laurels to our school.
We are pleased and proud to share highlights from another set of outstanding CBSE exam results for 2023. Once again, our students have earned a comprehensive range of excellent individual scores with a composite average that epitomizes excellence and hard work. We declared result for class Nursery to IX & XI on date 22 March 2023.
Our new session begins on 1st April with first chapter 2023. It has always been our endeavor to adopt a holistic approach in grooming the future of our students in our mind we feel that apart from academic grooming in terms in behavior mannerisms and attitudes is equally essential. This is an outgoing process and begins right from the day a student steps into the school and carries on throughout their stay in school. As part of this process the following were further added to our facilities at SPS.
In order to equip our teachers with latest teaching mythologies. Our teachers attended that teaching program suggested by CBSE.
It has been our endeavor to provide a fresh and healthy atmosphere to the children and we have been working the beautiful of the school campus by plantation.
Pedagogy At SPS
There is special emphasis for an all-round personality development which is extremely essential in today’s competitive environment. We also feel that the initial tender years need extra care and children need to spend an adequate amount of time in school.
It has been a priority at SPS to provide a stimulating learning environment for and all round development of its students. Teaching through Digi- class to further enhance learning through e- learning is an important element of our system.
Developing effective communication skills being one of the basic objectives of the school in today’s competitive environment, extracurricular activities like paper reading coins and declamations are regular by regularly taken up. The school has a very cute library covering various spheres like Science, language skill, literature, Dictionaries, Special Magazines and newspaper. The students have an easy access to the library under the supervision of the librarian.
Co-curricular activities –
Apart from academics co- curricular activities and celebrations have always be in regular feature at SPS. Foundation Day, Environment Day, Teachers Day and school exhibition (covering art and craft Science, Maths, EVS, Social Studies Computer, English and Hindi) were organised in the school. To develop a spirit of healthy competition and to excel, various competitions were held in the school during the year. Prayer recitation, poetry recitation, slogan writing, poster making, English and Hindi calligraphy story narration participated enthusiastically.
In order to ensure balanced growth of a child, regular interaction of school and the parent is of utmost necessity. So, a Parent- Teachers Meeting is held where the parents get a feedback about their child’s progress. Parents are encouraged to attend these meetings and since these meetings play a vital role in the relationship between parents and teachers.
I thank Dr. Meenakshi Tiwari Chairperson for being a strong pillar of support. Her vision and expertise is always a source of strength to all of us. I thank Mrs. Shivanshi Shekhawat our Director for giving valuable guidance and direction in every aspect of the school’s activity and its progress.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to every single member of my team; they are indeed the wind beneath my wings.
At last but not the least, I thank the parents of my dear children for having reposed their faith in us. I assure you dear parents that your children are in safe hands. As we look towards the days ahead, we do so with a feeling of cautioned optimism and seek blessings of the Almighty God.
